Spring and Summer Celebrations

In Spring and Summer 2019, Princeton Presbyterians:

  • Blessed and sent 14 graduating students from undergraduate and graduate programs at our final Breaking Bread worship service

  • Formed a new undergraduate leadership team of seven Princeton students to lead our ministry in the 2019-2020 academic year

  • Gathered a new undergraduate small group of half a dozen students to read 1 Corinthians together each week

  • Hosted a book club in July where we read Rachel Held Evans’ book Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible Again

  • Visited and shared a meal with students and young alums in Washington, DC, over the summer

  • Marched in Princeton’s first Pride Parade in June

  • Celebrated Rev. Max Hill, our ministry intern for 2018-2019, as he took a new call and ordination as the Campus Minister for UKirk St. Louis, a PCUSA campus ministry that serves students at St. Louis University and Washington University in St. Louis.

  • Welcomed Katie Garner as our new ministry fellow for 2019-2020. Katie is a recent graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, and she is finishing a Masters in Social Work at Rutgers this year.
